Strategic Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer, Halliburton
Tim Probert is Strategic Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer, working closely with the CEO on refining the Company’s overall corporate strategy. He is a member of Halliburton’s Executive Committee.
Most recently, Mr. Probert was President of Strategy and Corporate Development. In his prior position, President of Halliburton’s Global Business Lines, he was responsible for overseeing both Halliburton divisions. Earlier in his Halliburton career, he was President of Halliburton’s Drilling and Evaluation Division. From January 2010 to September 2012, he served as the Company’s Chief Health, Safety and Environment Officer.
Mr. Probert has widespread industry experience, and is a member of the Corporate Advisory Board of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG). Additionally, he has served on the Board of Directors of Input/Output, Inc.; Core Laboratories; and El Paso Corporation.
Before joining Halliburton in 2003, Mr. Probert was President and Chief Executive Officer of Input/Output, Inc. He previously held positions as President for Baker Hughes INTEQ, Eastman Teleco and Milpark Drilling Fluids.
Mr. Probert began his career in 1972 as a field geologist with Exploration Logging Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in geology and geography from the University of London.
